Summary

We're looking for a Revenue Operations Analyst to help us build a foundation for excellence by reinforcing revenue strategy with revenue metrics, infrastructure and best practices. You will help the marketing, sales and success teams to maximize their attainment through analytics, reporting, data streams and KPIs. You will be the partner of sales managers and directors in forecasting, territory planning & management as well as their account prioritization cadence. You are a trusted partner of the marketing, sales & success management team and will make supporting recommendations on ways to improve the productivity and scale of these departments.


What You’ll Do

  • Find, document and implement highly creative analytics solutions to problems using a wide range of technologies and applications
  • Understand and utilize best practices during development and release processes 
  • Champion the use of technology, tools, and processes to maintain the source(s) of truth of our sales, marketing and customer success data 
  • Proactively search for areas to improve, streamline and scale using data, process and systems analyses that measurably impact company revenue
  • Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to understand the details of a business problem, it’s impact on the business and the desired outcome the team wishes to achieve
  • Perform detailed investigations to reveal potential insights into root causes, areas of most impact, priorities of focus and recommended paths forward
  • Work across a mix of proactive projects and reactive support for business stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success 
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales & Success to support the accurate tracking, reporting, and attribution methodology for customer acquisitions & expansion.
  • Lead development of projects, measuring the real impact of solutions and adapting as necessary to overcome unexpected roadblocks or other obstacles
  • Manage cross-functional projects and influence on company-wide initiatives to move the needle on revenue growth

What We’re Looking For

  • Understand how to make analytics consumable and usable: Understand how revenue leaders and teams digest critical analytics and metrics
  • Communication: Effectively communicate and navigate conversations with leaders and departments to ensure the right decisions are made 

Must-Haves

  • 3+ years of experience as a data analyst supporting marketing or sales organization, at high-growth SaaS or technology companies (basic understanding of the SaaS technology landscape) (or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong quantitative capabilities with a passion for numbers and analytics
  • Experience working with BI/Analytics tools
  • High proficiency in Excel 
  • Able to map data schemas and explain how data flows into external reporting systems
  • Deployed marketing automation platform reports and/or Salesforce reports and dashboards
  • Has successfully rolled out attribution reporting and engagement scoring
  • Ability to conceptualize business processes, clearly illustrate pain points, and recommend changes to the systems that support those processes
  • SFDC experience is strongly preferred; Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred
  • Curious, independent, rigorous and proactive kind of a person
  • Great communicator: tell the story and present the results in a clear and interesting way
  • Can build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Excellent team player, and strong attention to details
  • Bonus: Experience with a query language
  • Bonus: A certification (or two) in any major data platform
